To My Abuelita & Mama

The ultimate source of comfort in my life has always been food. My abuelita and mom’s cooking was something I looked forward to everyday. In my family, making a warm meal was a way of showing your love; my love for cooking comes from them.

My childhood was full of love and wonderful food created by the matriarchs in the Escudero-Aguilar family. I hope you enjoy my favorite family recipes and the beautiful and unique gastronomy Ecuador has to offer.
