Serves 3 - 4
Licuados are very common in Latin America and have always been frequently consumed in our family. There are many different types, but all are generally milk based (I use extra creamy oat milk, but you can use any type of milk.)
This recipe is based on my uncle Mario's licuado that he used to make when we had a lot of avocados that needed to be used before they spoiled. It was a great way to make a quick & healthy breakfast or snack that you could take on the go.
Ingredients
1 avocado
1 ripe banana
3 cups of milk (I use creamy oat milk)
4 tablespoons of honey
Vanilla extract
1 cup of ice
Prep:
Add in the avocado, banana, oat milk, honey, ice and a dash of vanilla extract into a blender. Blend until smooth + serve.
TIP! You can also freeze this licuado and make popsicles if you have any left over.
Enjoy!
